Each year the Gamewell Optimist Club presents the
Optimist Award to a fifth grade boy and girl.

Gamewell Elementary received good news about the
2003-2004 End of Grade Test results, which is a part
of the North Carolina ABC Program. Gamewell

GES also meet the No Child Left Behind Annual Yearly
Progress (AYP) goals this year. Click here to

At the county level, we have been designated a Caldwell County
School of Excellence since we met the original ABC
program guideline requirements. As a Caldwell
County School of Excellence, GES received a check
for $5,000 from the Broyhill Foundation during the
ABC Reception on September 14th. Take a look
